A technology with versatile potential in development

To meet the increasing demand for antimicrobial and scented textiles, Biomod decided to expend its current line of products and launch a new technology allowing different types of micro and nano capsules with functional properties to be impregnated to textiles.

Textile products enhanced by this new development now have the ability to diffuse progressively active ingredients for the benefits of the humans, animals or plants surrounding them. Its applications are endless and the active ingredients can be combined to generate multi-functional goods. Imagine for a moment that your carpet has antibacterial properties while releasing your favourite ambiance fragrance. Think about biodegradable geotextiles used in agriculture that could be treated with an insect repellent and an anti-fungal solution.

This unique technology is another extension of Biomod’s aspiration: generate wellbeing through textiles.
